Mollie O’Hara Butler, CFRE

Mollie O’Hara Butler offers over 25 years of hands-on experience in successful development programs, both as a consultant and professional fundraiser. She has worked with organizations of all kinds, from small, social service groups to major universities. With a desire to provide high-quality capital campaign consulting to the Austin nonprofit community, Mollie founded Butler Nonprofit Consulting in December 2010. A member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) since 1996, Mollie was named Outstanding Fundraising Professional in 2004 and served as president of the Greater Austin Chapter in 2012. Additionally, Mollie has maintained her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) distinction since 2001.

Lisa Lee, CFRE

Lisa Lee brings nearly 20 years of development experience in Austin’s nonprofit sector to Butler Nonprofit Consulting, including deep knowledge and skill in the areas of capital campaign management, major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, event fundraising, annual giving, membership and more. Most recently the Director of Development at the Thinkery – the new Austin Children’s Museum – Lisa has held high-level development positions at organizations large and small around Austin. Lisa earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in 2004, and was named Outstanding Fundraising Professional by AFP in 2012. She served as president of the AFP Greater Austin Chapter in 2007.

Rachel Elder

Rachel Elder began her development career nearly 20 years ago and shares her experiences in grant writing, foundation and corporate relations, capital campaigns and major gifts. She has extensive experience in university fundraising models, volunteer management, and grassroots fundraising on a local and national scope. Rachel serves as a Zilker community leader and her commitment to volunteerism and resource development enhance her dedication to the Austin community. She is currently pursuing her Certification in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Austin Chapter. Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Lutheran University.

Katie Linn

Katie Linn is a born and raised Austinite and shares her love for our community by committing herself to nonprofit service. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Sociology. Katie has volunteered with organizations of all kinds, ranging from poverty alleviation in Turkey to environmental restoration in Costa Rica. Always looking for opportunities to expand her knowledge and understanding of the world, Katie is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN). She is currently working on earning her Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and regularly seeks professional development opportunities locally.
